Seems like the start of the new year, everyone has the same goal. To lose weight, get fit, or get healthy. You can achieve all of your goals, but first you must be willing to break old habits and generally start fresh.
How many times have you said, this year I am going to get fit and do everything that I am supposed to do? You start out all motivated and ready to go and then 30 days later, that membership is collecting dust or that eating plan is by the way side. It is hard to stay motivated when for a very long time, you just did what you did with no concern for your health. So it was easy to get out of shape and easy to have health issues. Especially when those around you are doing the same thing. Now you want to correct those issues, but don't have the motivation to continue after those first hard 30 days. For some, it was a hard 10 days and then everything stopped. How about starting the new year with a cleanse? Yeah, you heard me right, a cleanse.
A cleanse is a great way to reset your body, stop those sugar cravings and get your life back. Those first 3 days will be the hardest, but I promise you, after that, it becomes easy and then at the end of 30 days, your body is reset and ready to go. Losing weight won't be as much of a struggle and those cravings will cease to exist. You don't have to stay this way, but retrain your body on moderation. So, you can enjoy food and not go back to the old habits. Yes, there will be days that you eat more than you should. However, you can always start over the next day. There is no punishment if you over indulge every once in a while. There is only punishment of gaining back what you lost and enduring more health issues if you don't jump back on track. You will also learn how to eat better for your body. We are all different with different body types and appetites. However, we can all benefit from a healthy cleanse to start the year.
With the cleanse and a new workout plan, you are on a journey to claim back your health and your life. You'll be surprised at how you feel and how much your skin glows. You'll also be learning new healthy habits that can last a lifetime. So, this new you becomes the new baseline and the old struggles will move to new struggles. Yes, that is a part of life. You conquer one thing and BOOM you find you have another struggle. Don't see this as something bad. See it as challenges that you can overcome and achieve. So, lets work together and encourage each other as we work hard to reach our health and fitness goals.
